Private Civil Marriage Held at Sonakshi's Bandra Apartment

 Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, co-stars from the 2022 comedy-drama "Double XL," tied the knot in a private civil ceremony at Sonakshi's Bandra West apartment on Sunday. The couple, who have been together for seven years, celebrated their union with family and close friends, receiving blessings from both families and their respective deities. "We are now man and wife," the couple joyfully announced, sharing their wedding pictures and expressing their love and commitment to each other. Sonakshi, 37, and Zaheer, 35, donned matching ivory attire, with Sonakshi wearing her mother Poonam Sinha's wedding saree and Zaheer in an embroidered kurta-pyjama.

 The reception saw attendance from numerous film personalities, including Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Anil Kapoor, among others. The wedding festivities began on Thursday with a family get-together, followed by a mehendi ceremony on Friday. On Saturday, the Sinha family hosted a pooja ceremony at their Juhu residence, Ramayana.

 Despite rumors of discontent from Sonakshi's father, veteran star and TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha, he was seen all smiles, dispelling any concerns as he posed with the groom and his family. Zaheer Iqbal, son of renowned jeweler Iqbal Ratansi, celebrated the joyous occasion with his sister Sanam Ratansi, a celebrity stylist and costume designer.
