Payal Malik Clarifies Marriage Status After 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' Eviction
Claims to Be Armaan Malik's Only Legal Wife Amid Polygamy Controversy
Recently evicted from 'Bigg Boss OTT 3,' Payal Malik addressed the ongoing
controversy surrounding her polygamous marriage with Armaan Malik and Kritika
Malik. In an exclusive interview, she asserted that she is Armaan's only legal
wife, not Kritika.
Payal, the latest contestant eliminated from the popular reality show, spoke
about the criticism the trio has faced for allegedly promoting polygamy on
social media and now on television. She clarified, "Our fans know we have
never supported polygamy in our vlogs or interviews. Whatever mistake Armaan
made, I don't think any man in India should replicate. We managed to sustain
it, but it's not something I recommend. No woman should have to bear the pain
of her husband bringing another woman home."
When asked about coping with the situation, Payal admitted, "I was
deeply affected, but it was hard for all of us. I can't live without Armaan ji,
and neither can Kritika. Armaan can't leave either of us. When he remarried, I
was hurt and separated from him for over a year with my son. After facing many
hardships, I returned, and we resolved our issues. Now, we live peacefully as a
family."
In a JioCinema promo, Kritika made light-hearted remarks about sharing a
towel with Armaan and Payal, saying, "When I can share a husband, a towel
is a minor thing." Payal commented on this, saying, "Kritika likes to
joke. She said it in fun and I was present, so I understood the tone and
intention. It’s not a big deal."
Payal also addressed rumors about Armaan converting to Islam for his second
marriage, stating, "Armaan never converted. I am his legal wife. Kritika
and Armaan's marriage is not legal. As far as I know, if the first wife
consents, it's not an issue."
In conclusion, Payal encouraged Armaan and Kritika to play the game with
full effort, assuring them of her support and hoping they reach the finale.
